  1. You all asked why sell a distillery just to start another one? It’s all about giftings and passion. Some people are great startup folks, scrappy, ready for the fight and entrepreneurs through and through. They get bored once a company is stable. And they may not be gifted to scale a company or maintain it over the test of time. The other type of owner, who buys stable companies and grows them, may dislike or be bad at the startup, but once they can scale a good thing, they are right in the center of their giftings and passions. These are typically two different types of people, and each one makes a lot of money in their own place of passion and joy.
